Drug free half marathon

11 kilometers from Dubagga intersection to Sitapur bypass via Bhitauli intersection and return 11 kilometers to Dubagga intersection

Under the Drug Free India campaign, a 22 kilometer drug free half marathon (men) will be organized in the capital Lucknow on October 19. In which the first winner will be given Rs 3 lakh, the second will be given Rs 2 lakh and the third will be given Rs 1 lakh. Apart from this, incentive amount of Rs 21000 will be given to the top 3 winners, Rs 11000 to the next 10 winners and Rs 5100 to the next 10 winners.

This information was given by Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore during a press conference in the capital Lucknow on Tuesday.

Union Minister Kaushal Kishore said that our country is a country of youth and today’s youth, who is the foundation of the country’s progress, is wandering towards drugs, hence the youth should go towards sports and keep their friendship drug-free so that they can have a better future. They should not consume any kind of drug so that their talent can further improve and they can contribute meaningfully to their family, society and country.

Drug Free Half Marathon (Men) is being organized at 5:00 am. This marathon is to go 11 kilometers from Dubagga intersection to Sitapur bypass via Bhitauli intersection and return 11 kilometers to Dubagga intersection. Youth above 18 years of age will participate in it. During this period, about 10 thousand volunteers will stand on both sides of the road. Also, medikit, doctors and all kinds of arrangements have been taken care of.
