About This Event
Various varieties of roses and gladiolus, including some rare ones, will be displayed at the two-day Rose and Gladiolus show at the National Botanical Research Institute .
Main attractions are the cut roses and the gladiolus germplasm collection from NBRI displayed on the lawn. One can see the choicest collection of gladiolus varieties, and roses, categorised in various groups: bedding type for garden purposes, bi-coloured, commercial varieties.
It will a treat for the eyes of visitors — 75 rose varieties in pots and 90 in vases — of various colours and forms. ‘Green Rose’ blossomed in the sunlight.
