‘Coffee with VC’ event was organised by DSW & international students of Lucknow University
University of Lucknow, Dean Students’ Welfare organized an interactive and engaging session with Hon’ble VC Prof. Alok Kumar Rai and international students of various departments of university for the well known event Coffee with VC. The session provides a platform where these students directly interact with Hon’ble VC sir and share experiences and expectations with each other. Hon’ble VC Prof. Alok Kumar Rai started the discussion by sharing his thoughts on the importance of education and motivation. He also shared his vision about the university and its future plans. He highlighted that the university is continuously working towards imparting quality education to its International Students.
The students asked various questions and got answers to all their queries. Prof. Rai also talked about the importance of discipline in life and how it is important for students to maintain discipline in the university campus. He also advised the students to make the best use of the facilities provided by the university. Hon’ble VC also talked about the various cultural events and sports events which are organized in the university. Students enjoyed Gujhiyas and smeared each other with colours to celebrate Holi marked the event in the next level. The session was filled with fun, excitement and good vibes.
The Vice Chancellor discussed the festivities , life styles , food habits ,cuisines and different other aspects of cross cultural lives .
He further suggested some life styles mantras and practical advices on accommodating in different professional and and cultural eco systems .A lady Buddhist monk pursuing her PhD in Philosophy chanted wellbeing mantras and prayeed for happy campusife.
