Girija Aradhana Music Festival, 2024 was celebrated by Aradhana sangeet academy and Gujarat Rajya Sangeet Natak at Gajjar hall
On 19th April Girija Aradhana Music Festival, 2024 was celebrated by Aradhana sangeet academy and Gujarat Rajya Sangeet Natak at Gajjar hall in memory of Guru Padma Vibhushan Girija Devi.
In first session shri. Adhish Shah from Surat played raga Gorakh kalyan in taal Rupak, teen taal on jal tarang. It was appreciated and got big applause by all music lovers.
He was accompanied by shri. Kushal Shah on tabla.
In second session Dr. Aditi Chakraborty from Kolkata sang Rageshri raga in vilambit ektaal, teen taal in melodious authentic way.Then she sang tappa in rag Mishra Kafi, thumri in raga tilang. She concluded sabha with chaitee. She was accompanied by shri Jajvalya Shukla on tabla and shri Akash Joshi on Harmonium. The soulful rendoration appreciated by all music lovers.
In last session shri. Gaurav Pathak played raga Aabhogi in Roudra taal, teen taal and ektaal. All music lovers enjoyed thoroughly the devine music.
Two days Girija Aradhana festival was celebrated by music lovers, students and gurus.
