Basant Samagam was celebrated at Shri Guru Singh Sabha, historical Gurudwara Naka Hindola, Lucknow

The fourth annual Basant Samagam was celebrated at Shri Guru Singh Sabha, historical Gurudwara Naka Hindola, Lucknow with extreme devotion and respect. This samagam was organized by Simran Sadhna Parivaar, Lucknow in the loving memory of Late Balwant Singh Makker.The members of Simran Sadhna Parivaar who are all young students, recited Gurbani kirtan on western instruments along with the traditional ones. The sangat was enthralled on hearing the Naam Simran by Lovepreet Kaur, and shabads “Rakho Sarnai Guru Ramdas” by Gurkeerat Kaur, Basant Raag by Divanshi Dua, “Naam Bina Kahan Ko Tarya” by Anoop Singh and “Ishq Maula” by the entire group. The entire Sangat was mesmerized with the rendition of extremely devotional group shabad “Jai Jai Kar” in which the entire sangat offered flower petals on the Holy Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Gurkeerat Kaur, Lovepreet Kaur, and Divanshi Dua played the keyboardwhile violin was played by Ratnangi Pandit. Harmeet Singh, Prabhjot Singh, and Anoop Singh played the tabla. Simran Kaur, Gurpreet Singh Gandhi, Sukhpreet Kaur and Smiti Chand played the harmonium. The entire samagam was coordinated by the founders of Simran Sadhna Parivaar Mr. Taranjeet Singh Makker and Mrs. Ramanjot Kaur Makker with active support from Mr. Satpal Singh Meet. The president of Lucknow Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee, S.Rajendra Singh Bagga motivated the children with words of inspiration and presented gifts and momentos to the children. Guru ka Langar was also organized wherein hundreds of devotees had parshaad.
