Forests of Life, a climate festival that celebrates the joy of nature, is being organised by Azim Premji University in our campuses at Bengaluru and Bhopal. Through the festival, we seek to engage intensively with children and young adults, beginning a new collective exploration together.

We invite schools, colleges, and organisations from across Karnataka, and other states too (if travelling interstate is not a concern).

From students of grade 5 to young graduates and professionals, all are welcome to join us on this journey, guided by the perspectives of young interns, researchers, and practitioners.

Our goal is to embark on this journey together with you and all those who share our enthusiasm for the forest. We warmly invite you to the world of forests!

For children, there will be numerous enriching opportunities for learning, including

1. Expansive panels featuring images, maps and information on biodiversity, forest communities
2. cultural and spiritual significance, diverse uses, and much more
3. Videos and films with engaging discussions
4. Experience sharing by young Forests of Life interns
5. Dedicated areas to engage in interactive learning activities
6. Immersive experience — in the sounds, scents, sights, and textures of the forest
7. Talks and discussions

NOTE:

1. Registrations and Exhibit viewing is free for all.
2. Breakfast and lunch will be offered to all institutions registering for the event at no cost.
3. Visitors can avail the campus cafeteria services.
4. Transport will be arranged by us for government schools and colleges; not for profit organisations willing to bring children and youth from their project area, in and around Bengaluru.
5. Private institutions are required to arrange their own transport.
