⭐*Obesity Pain Management & Skin Diseases Camp from 19th February to 23rd February, 2024.*

⭐*Free Yoga Camp (every month on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday)*

Yoga is an ancient technique of India as propounded in Maharishi Patanjali’s Yogasutra and later described by Swami Vivekananda as fully harmless, body purifier and immunity enhancer. Obesity & Joint pains are one of the main concerns among the life style diseases, which lead to progressive disability and dependence on others. Obesity & Joints diseases are mainly due to wrong dietary habits and improper life style. Therefore, until and unless these are rectified, no medicine can be successful in the long run. Through daily practice of Yogasana, Pranayam, Meditation and Shat karma we are able to boost up our immune system, make our body active and rejuvenate ourselves. As a result, we feel energetic and healthy.

This camp has an aim of not only symptomatic pain relief but also to restore the stiffness and mobility and strengthening of the supporting muscles and adjoining structures for permanent relief and restoration of holistic health.

*The Obesity and Joint pain camp will be of 5 days’ duration, from Monday 19th February to Friday 23rd February, 2024. During this period patients will be given different types of Yoga, Naturopathic and alternative treatments i.e. Acupressure, Magnet Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Diet therapy, Chromo therapy, Raiki and other specific exercises depending on the diseases. The camp will start from 9:00 a.m. and continue up to 4:00 p.m.*

During such camps in the recent part there was a huge turnout of the patients. Patients suffering from obesity, stubborn and chronic joint diseases got the benefit of it. Because of efficacy and acceptance of the holistic therapy by the patients, the hospital has decided to organize more such camps within the hospital so that people at large may get the benefit of holistic therapy

Patients from all age groups suffering from Obesity, Osteo-arthritis, Cervical, Lumber Spondylosis, Slip-disc, Frozen Shoulders and Sciatica may get benefit from this camp. Competent Naturopathists and expert staff of the department of Yoga and Naturopathy of Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences will supervise the camp.

This will be followed by another camp on Yoga which will be for every month of Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. The participants will be trained every morning from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. in various Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation practices towards ensuring their Holistic Health.

The participants may register for Obesity and Pain Management Camp as well as the Yoga Camp both in the yoga and Naturopathy department of VPIMS, Lucknow from 19th February to 23rd February, 2024 between 9:00 am. to 4.00 p.m.
