The Ministry of Defence through the Department of Ex-servicemen Welfare is organising a “Job Fair” in Lucknow for ex-servicemen on 12 Feb, 2024. The event seeks to provide a single platform wherein the Corporates/PSUs and Ex-servicemen are brought together to facilitate in situ interview and placement. This Job Fair is being organised by Directorate General of Resettlement under the aegis HQ Central Command and in partnership with FICCI, CII & UPDIC, at Surya Khel Parisar, Lucknow Cantt.
Ex- servicemen below 60 years of age are invited to attend the event. Corporate stalls will be provided to participating companies on the first come first serve basis. In addition, necessary infrastructure/ any assistance required will also be made available for selection and recruitment of Ex-servicemen of All Ranks and structure from technical and non-technical background of the ARMY, NAVY & AIRFORCE.
Free registration of the Ex-servicemen will commence on the day of the event 12 Feb 2024 at the venue (Surya Khel Parisar) from 08: 00h to 10 : 30h.
Assisting our brave ex-servicemen in starting a second career and enabling smooth transition to civil life, is a moral, social and national responsibility.
The Ministry of Defence has been organising such job fairs throughout the nation to fulfil this responsibility.
