Sri Sri Durga Puja 2023

Durga Puja festival honors Goddess Durga’s victory over the demonic Mahishasura. On the tenth day, also known as Vijayadashami, it is said that Goddess Durga defeated him after a nine-day battle. The culmination of Durga Puja is marked by the celebration of Dussehra on this day.

On the sixth day of Sharad Navratri, the Durga Puja festival begins. From Friday, October 20, 2023, through Tuesday, October 24, 2023, it will be observed this year. Every year, pandals are built to house the exquisite statues of Maa Durga killing Mahishasura. Lakshmi, Ganesh, Kartikeya, and Saraswati, who are also adored, can be seen with Maa Durga.
