RDSO honored with ‘Raktdaan Seva Sammaan’ by Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh

RDSO Hospital has been honored with ‘Raktdaan Seva Sammaan’ by Smt. Anandiben Patel,

Hon’ble Governor, Uttar Pradesh for its excellent work and exemplary contribution in the field of voluntary blood donation in a special programme organised on the occasion of ‘World Blood Donor Day’ on 14.06.2024 at KGMU, Lucknow. Dr. Kamal Kishore, Principal Chief Medical Officer and Dr. Meraj Ahmed/Sr. DMO jointly received this award on behalf of RDSO.

Apart from this, an awareness programme on ‘World Blood Donor Day’ was also organised by

RDSO Hospital. On this occasion Dr. Anuj Kr. Singh elaborated the advantages of Blood Donation and the need of Blood Transfusion. Dr. Kamal Kishore/PCMO provided the details of eligibility for blood donation and criteria for selecting candidates for blood donation. He also explained the benefits of blood donation to the donor.
