India’s Largest National Level Quiz on Biotechnology – BioQuiz 2023 is organized by the Department of Electronics, IT, Bt and S&T Govt. of Karnataka as part of India’s flagship event INDIA BIO@BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT-2023 to be held between 29th Nov to 31st Dec 2023 at Bangalore Palace, Bengaluru.

Objective:

The objective of the 16th edition of this quiz is to create awareness about the fascinating world of Biotechnology and encourage students to delve deep into the subject in a holistic manner. It is also an opportunity to showcase to the world, the talent of our country in the fast-growing area of Life Sciences.

Get ready to witness the exhilarating competition and showcase of exceptional talents from students across the nation.

ELIGIBILITY

  • No Entry Fee.
  • Individual Participation.
  • Any student of undergraduate level can take part (above class 12/PUC and below PG).
  • Contestant must be full time bonafide student (as of 2023) of a college located across India.
  • Eligibility has to be validated by the college when the student qualifies to the national round.
  • 4 winners from each zone would qualify to participate in the national final to be held at INDIABIO@BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT on 30th November 2023.
  • Travel allowance will be given to 4 students who would be participating in the National Final.

ROUNDS OF THE QUIZ

PRELIM – ROUND – 1
  • Online test will be conducted at national level.
  • On 4th & 5th Nov 2023.
ZONAL FINALS – ROUND – 2
  • Zonal Finals will be conducted zone wise amongst qualified students from Round-1.
  • On 18th & 19th Nov 2023.
NATIONAL FINAL – ROUND – 3
  • Final will be conducted amongst 4 winners from four zones.
  • On 30th Nov 2023.
